Version 4.0

  • Adds support for XP native theme.
  • Adds toolbar button hints.
  • Adds popup menu to organize some menu items, looks more compact now. 
  • Now dialogs shown will not appear as a new taskbar button.
  • NETime Channel themes could be changed by switching the menu option (previously have to be done via a Theme dialog).
  • Subscription list loads faster (especially for longer list), due to change from File I/O to Streaming (other positive side effects include using less hard disk space for I/O purpose).
  • Removes the 33 IE instances limit for the online RSS feed parser to work properly.
  • Fixes the problem of launching new IE window via CTRL-N will cause online RSS parsing to fail, now it works properly.
  • Fixes the problem of launching new IE window via CTRL-N, then try to navigate within a parsed RSS page, another running IE instance will be used to display the RSS content instead of the original IE.

Version 3.5

  • Adds RSS, RDF or ATOM XML news feeds Auto-Discovery support. Now when you visit any web page that contains RSS Auto-Discovery information, an RSS icon  will be displayed in the toolbar, allowing you to easily subscribe to any of the selected RSS feeds listed.
  • Adds PodCast support. You may now enjoy all the PodCast content within Internet Explorer without launching other applications.
  • Adds Yahoo and MSN RSS search result subscription support. You could perform search against Yahoo or MSN via the built-in search box and subscribe to the returned RSS result via Subscribe RSS Search Result and see your search result updated automatically according to your set interval.

Version 3.0

  • Adds RSS Subscription support. Now you will be able to subscribe to your favourite RSS, RDF or ATOM XML news feeds from Internet Explorer. You could specify the interval by which this powerful RSS reader will visit the subscribed RSS news feeds with the built-in scheduler.
  • Adds OPML support.
  • Adds support for RSS news feeds that requires SSL connection and user authentication.
  • Adds support for GMail RSS news feeds. You may transform your Internet Explorer into an instant GMail notifier now.
  • Adds Most Updated Channels page to list all latest news in a summary page for easy browsing.

Version 2.0

  • Adds background theme support. Now 4 themes are available: Classic, Glossy, Rosy, Autumn.
  • Adds RSS news feed monitoring support, (a.k.a Aggresive Mode). Now users can add RSS, RDF or ATOM news feeds to the monitored list whenever they encounter URLs that Internet Explorer would either prompt as a file to be downloaded or does not proceed to the next page.
